Generated Morphology: Circulation
Digital Simulation / Analog Artifacts
AAU - Fall 2015

In this seminar, students studied how simulation could be used to drive morphology. Starting with a general circulation rule, a digital simulation was created to explore unexpected patterns. The simulation data was then brought into a parametric design environment and used to modulate prescribed shell surfaces. The digital designs were then explored in analog through physical fabrication exercises.
